About The Position

This role involves working in a warehouse environment performing various functions such as receiving, storing, parting, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products. The operator will load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage areas, read production schedules to determine items to be moved, and convey materials to designated areas. Sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence is also a key responsibility. The position requires operating a gas or electric-powered forklift truck to move, stack, load, or unload materials, parts, and finished goods. Additionally, the operator may load/unload trucks and use a Hi-Rise to load items into storage racks.

Requirements

Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
Ability to work any job and work overtime as needed.
Must be clean shaven to wear proper PPE.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Receiving, storing, parting, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments.
Loading and unloading product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas and parting material.
Reading production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Conveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code.
Operating gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc.
Loading/unloading trucks.
Using a Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks.
