About The Position
ABM is hiring a Pre-Apprentice Test & Balance Technician represented by Local Union 104. The listed pay is $31.64 per hour. Candidates must be current Local Union 104 members or be willing to join upon hire. ABM states that Local Union 104 benefits are offered. The technician completes assigned preventive and reactive maintenance and repairs involving conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, and other equipment, systems, or structures. The role also responds to spills and emergencies, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as needed, and assists with client, site, or customer emergencies.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a current member of Local Union 104 or be willing to join after hire.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of testing and balancing experience.
- Military experience or service in a listed Military Occupational Specialty: 91E, 91C, EM, HT, MK, DC, 1161, 1341, or 3E1X1.
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs involving conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, and other equipment, systems, or structures.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance are completed for all equipment and facilities.
- Respond to spills and other emergency situations, performing janitorial and maintenance tasks as necessary.
- Assist in client, site, or customer emergencies as needed.
