About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be a current Quad employee seeking career advancement or a student in a mechanical or industrial maintenance program.
  • Must be able to complete an 8,000-hour structured apprenticeship.
  • Must be able to participate in paid related instruction.
  • Must be able to receive hands-on mentoring in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with advanced manufacturing equipment, including robotics.
  • In-demand maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards, tools, and equipment operation.
  • Understanding of mechanical systems (bearings, belts, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, motors).
  • Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Experience with installation and setup (rigging, alignment, equipment start-up).
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive diagnostics.
  • Skills in machining and fabrication (shop equipment, welding, basic metalwork).
