The Pre-Admit Testing RN performs comprehensive pre-admission assessments for patients, including reviewing medical histories, current medications, allergies, and surgical history. They conduct necessary pre-operative testing, such as blood work, EKGs, and diagnostic tests, as per the physician's or facility’s guidelines. The role involves assessing and verifying patient understanding of the procedure, ensuring they are informed about what to expect before, during, and after surgery or treatment.
