About The Position

This Highway position runs 5 days out at a time and averages 2300 miles per week. The role involves a consistent schedule of departures and arrivals, including Sunday departures for Calgary, live unloads, trailer switches in Saskatoon, and returns to Edmonton by noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additional work may be available upon request, and regional work is required. The position comes with an assigned non-smoking unit and the Prairie Regional pay-package.

Requirements

Company Driver with tractor trailer experience.
Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License.
Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol.
Must be able to lift 50 lb. or more.
Must be able to lift 50 lb. or more.
Values Safety.
Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

Reefer experience is an asset.
CP Rail experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

Run 5 days out at a time, averaging 2300 miles per week.
Arrive at customer location Sunday by 1900 for loading and timely departure.
Depart customer at 2030 to Calgary for a live unload at 0030.
Drop the empty trailer and pick up a loaded trailer in Calgary, depart for Saskatoon with a stop on route to reset.
Switch trailers in Saskatoon and return to Edmonton arriving before noon on Tuesday.
Arrive at customer location Tuesday by 2130 for loading and timely departure.
Depart customer at 2030 to Calgary for a live unload at 0030.
Drop the empty trailer and pick up a loaded trailer in Calgary, depart for Saskatoon with a stop on route to reset.
Switch trailers in Saskatoon and return to Edmonton arriving before noon on Thursday.
Arrive at customer location Thursday by 2130 for loading and timely departure.
Depart customer at 2030 to Calgary for a live unload at 0030.
Drop the empty trailer and pick up a loaded trailer in Calgary, and return to Edmonton.
Perform additional work upon request.
Complete regional work as required.
Ensure smooth loading and timely departures.
Haul all commodities including meat and alcohol.
Register/log-in to the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse website.
