About The Position

Under direct supervision by the Clinical Supervisor, the Practicum Student will be primarily responsible for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information. This role works with clients ages 6-18 and provides services through Telehealth, community, clinic, and home-based settings, addressing a variety of mental health issues throughout Santa Clara County.

Requirements

Enrolled in a practicum course at an accredited MA, MS, MSW program.
Valid California Driver’s License.
Current automobile insurance.
Must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable).
