We invite you to partner with us in our mission to improve mental healthcare. This position is part of the Outpatient Division/Program and is an in-person role located in South San Jose. The Practicum Student will work part-time, 24 hours per week, providing mental health services and case management to children or adolescents and their families. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The role also involves acting as a liaison with external agencies, functioning within clinical teams, documenting and billing for services, and completing outcomes information. The program works with clients ages 6-18, offering telehealth, community, clinic, and home-based services for a variety of mental health issues throughout Santa Clara County.

Requirements

Enrolled in a practicum course at an accredited MA, MS, MSW program.
Valid California Driver’s License.
Current automobile insurance.
Must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

Nice To Haves

Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable).

Responsibilities

Providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services.
Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management.

Documents and bills for mental health and case management services.
