We invite you to partner with us in our mission to improve mental healthcare. This position is part of the Outpatient Division/Program and is an in-person role located in South San Jose. The Practicum Student will work part-time, 24 hours per week, providing mental health services and case management to children or adolescents and their families. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The role also involves acting as a liaison with external agencies, functioning within clinical teams, documenting and billing for services, and completing outcomes information. The program works with clients ages 6-18, offering telehealth, community, clinic, and home-based services for a variety of mental health issues throughout Santa Clara County.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a practicum course at an accredited MA, MS, MSW program.
  • Valid California Driver’s License.
  • Current automobile insurance.
  • Must maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervision for BBS hours for AMFT, ACSW, and APCC professionals (where applicable).
