About The Position
CentraCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Practice Nurse to join our Clinical Cardiology team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and clinical support to cardiology providers while promoting exceptional patient experiences and positive health outcomes. The Practice Nurse serves as a key member of the care team working with patients through hospital, clinic and outreach services.
Requirements
- Graduate from a nursing program required
- Current Minnesota RN license required
- 1 year of recent cardiology work (i.e., critical care nursing, heart catheterization, emergency room) required
- 2 years of experience working in a cardiovascular disease program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card per established policy required
- Sufficient knowledge to recognize abnormal laboratory data and other diagnostic testing results necessitating reporting to physicians required
- A valid Minnesota class D driver’s license and a vehicle available for work, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or MSN preferred
- BSN required within three (3) years
