About The Position

Responsible for the effective operation of your Health Centers including outstanding customer service, quality patient care, efficient patient flow, error free patient data entry, required medical records management, team productivity and site budget control. The Practice Manager will work closely with senior management, physicians, nurses, medical assistants, support staff and colleagues to direct, lead, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the health center.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in healthcare administration
  • Valid CPR Certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field)

Responsibilities

  • Identifies problems and develops recommendation for resolution
  • Assumes personal responsibility for ongoing professional growth and development
  • Continuously assesses and improves department’s performance
  • Provides orientation, in-service training, and continuing education of department staff
  • Assists the Chief Operating Officer in planning, organizing, staffing, managing, and controlling the operations of the center
  • Supervise all line personnel; motivate staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilities
  • Oversee patient data collection and ensure its integrity
  • Ensure that billing information is processed and forwarded to the corporate office by the following day; ensure that all fees are collected, safely stored, and deposited as per policy
  • Prepare facility for smooth and efficient daily operation
  • Monitor and ensure that staffing levels are in line with the budget and utilized adequately
  • Monitor and ensure that all expenses are within budget guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, and ensure the center operates in accordance with contractual obligations
  • Ensure the proper safeguarding and maintenance of all company and medical records, and that the center is in compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Prepare all mandatory reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Represent the facility and participate in meetings, outreach programs and community involvement activities
  • Responsible for regulatory compliance, including, Ambulatory Licensing, CLIA/lab, DEPE, Federal Requirements, HIPAA, FQHC, etc.
