About The Position

As a Practice Manager in the VetCare Community, you'll be the driving force behind a vibrant veterinary team, embodying our core values: Come Together as One, Always Focus on the Patient, Raise the Bar, Engage with Empathy. In this role, you will create and lead a collaborative team environment that fosters growth, engagement, and exceptional client experiences. You'll use your empathy and problem-solving skills to swiftly resolve any issues, ensuring smooth operations and happy clients. Your day-to-day will involve striving for operational excellence, managing team schedules, and supporting talent acquisition efforts by sourcing Locum DVMs and RVTs as needed. You'll provide onboarding and coaching to new team members, conduct annual reviews, and offer feedback and support to help your team grow. You'll also manage inventory, budgets, and all financial aspects of the practice. You'll also make a splash on social media, shouting about all the great things your team is inspiring and doing. Requirements

  • Veterinary Industry Knowledge and/or Project Management Experience
  • Team Management/Supervisory Experience (2-3 years)
  • HR Management Experience
  • Financial/Budget Management Experience
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Communication Excellence
  • Change Management Experience
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varied hours to meet team needs.
  • Feedback Skills: Comfortable providing feedback and support to all team members.
