About The Position

Established May of 2015, our mission at Garden Oaks Veterinary Center is to provide relationship-centered, compassionate care to our clients and high-quality medicine and diagnostics for all patients. Our clean, spacious AAHA accredited facilities feature the latest in veterinary technology, allowing us to use advanced diagnostic tools to provide accurate diagnoses, perform delicate procedures and tests, and monitor the progress of your pet’s treatment plan. We are looking for an experienced Practice Manager to join our team. The Practice Manager oversees the hospital’s daily operations, team, client experience, and financial performance. This role works closely with the medical team and CVP leadership to ensure a positive environment and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• 4+ years of veterinary hospital management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Emergency or specialty experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Veterinary Practice Management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support hospital staff.
• Oversee hiring, scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Manage daily hospital operations, inventory, facilities, and compliance.
• Address client concerns and support a positive client experience.
• Monitor budgets, financial reports, payroll, and purchasing.
• Support marketing, community relationships, and hospital growth.
• Partner with veterinary and CVP leadership on hospital goals and initiatives.
