About The Position

Sentara SMG Family Medicine Chimney Hill is now hiring a Practice Manager II in the Virginia Beach, VA area! This role partners with clinical leadership in a dyad model to ensure the efficient and effective operations of one or more clinics/practices with 11-24 staff members and/or complexity operations score 2 for hospital or office-based specialties. The Practice Manager II provides overall supervision of staff and oversight of all aspects of operations including customer service, budget, risk management, and compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations, and standards of care. They are accountable for personally monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, quality, patient experience, and team member performance.

Requirements

• Associate's Level Degree (required)
• Healthcare - 2 years experience
• Leadership - 2 years experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient and effective operations of one or more clinics/practices.
• Provide overall supervision of staff.
• Oversee all aspects of operations including customer service, budget, risk management, and compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations, and standards of care.
• Monitor and engage team members and other resources to improve financial performance, quality, patient experience, and team member performance.
