About The Position

BHMG Neurosciences Urology is seeking a Practice Manager II to be responsible for the daily operations and supervision of the practice, including objective measures in a “balanced scorecard” approach. This role involves scheduling physician and staff personnel, managing leave requests, and making recommendations regarding equipment and supplies. The Practice Manager will prepare and submit an annual budget, collaborate with Marketing and Public Relations to enhance the clinic's public image, and establish and maintain an efficient patient flow system. Additionally, the role requires establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with patients, visitors, physicians, employees, and coworkers, and serving as the facility’s representative to the business community and public. The Practice Manager will plan new programs, research and develop plans to market new or existing services, handle daily balancing, bank depositing, and invoice processing, and conduct periodic audits of charts, policies, and procedures. This position is also responsible for the interviewing, hiring, orientation, development, and evaluation of employees.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in business or health care related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical and project management skills as demonstrated by the ability to manage personnel and technical issues and the knowledge of financial analysis tools and PC skills.
  • Must have an in-depth knowledge of the payor environment, patient service delivery systems and federal/state rules and regulations regarding billing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily operations and supervision of the practice, including objective measures in a “balanced scorecard” approach.

  • Make recommendations regarding equipment and supplies needed to maintain efficient operations; order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Prepare and submit an annual budget.
  • Work with Marketing and Public Relations as needed to enhance public image of the clinic.
  • Establishes and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with patients, visitors, physicians. employees and coworkers.
  • Serves as the facility’s representative to the business community and public at large.
  • Plan new programs to be developed within the office.
  • Research and isolates opportunities and develops plans for Director review to market new or existing services the facilities may offer.
  • Daily balancing and bank depositing and invoice processing.
  • Must be able to conduct periodic audits of charts, policies and procedures and/or direct this process for the entire facility.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, orientation, development, and evaluation of employees.
