Chestnut Hill Clinic Co LLC, located in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, is an alliance of Temple Health, Redeemer Health, and PCOM. This 148-bed community-based, university-affiliated teaching hospital is committed to excellent patient-centered care and provides a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The Practice Manager will oversee the leadership and management operations of a single or multiple site practice, in accordance with Senior Management objectives. This role involves administrative authority over physicians and significant administrative authority over support staff, with oversight of department leads or supervisory personnel. A strong foundation in finance, operations, and personnel management is essential. The Practice Manager will hire, manage, and evaluate administrative and non-physician clinical staff, and oversee the financial operations of the practice, including budget development, monitoring, revenue enhancement, capital expenditures, cost efficiencies, and financial performance analysis. Collaboration with physicians, clinicians, and staff is key to ensuring efficient operations that maximize physician productivity while maintaining quality patient care.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Holds monthly Physician/Management meetings; establishes agenda in consultation with physicians, prepares data for meeting, contributes to decision-making, and is responsible for executing business strategy as directed by physicians, in accordance with Company objectives.
  • Enforces compliance of policies and procedures and keeps staff informed of hospital communications and policy changes.
  • Acts as a delegate for all administrative functions / duties in the absence of the Director.
  • Responsible for Leadership and Management Operations of a Single or Multiple Site Practice, in accordance with Senior Management objectives.
  • Has some administrative authority over physicians and nearly full administrative authority over support staff.
  • Oversees other department leads, or supervisory personnel, and has a strong foundation in finance, operations, and personnel management.
  • Hires, manages and evaluates the administrative and non-physician clinical staff at all sites.
  • Has oversight over the financial operations of the Practice; provides capital and equipment needs, staffing needs, and goals of the Practice.
  • Works closely with physician, mid-level Clinicians and staff to ensure efficient operations that maximize physician productivity while rendering quality patient care.
  • Financial management responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets, exploring revenue enhancement opportunities, capital expenditures, ensuring cost efficiencies, creating and analyzing reports and utilizing operational data to assist with improving the financial performance of the practice operation.
