We are accepting internal applications only for a Temporary Practice Lead assignment in FCC Behaviour Services to cover a short-term leave. Please submit your application before May 22nd 2026. The Practice Lead for the FCC Behaviour Services team provides oversight to Behaviour Consultants, Behaviour Specialists, and Behaviour Interventionists, offering both clinical guidance and performance-based support. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining management experience, and employees who meet the required qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply. The successful Internal applicant will return to their previous position at the conclusion of this temporary placement.

Requirements

  • 3-years of experience related to case management in the aforementioned service areas.
  • Supervisory experience with similar services.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience with assessment of individuals with diverse needs and complex behaviours; and the development of individualized care plans to address their needs.
  • Experience providing family support or coordinating services for families.
  • Strong knowledge related to developmental delays and disabilities, ASD, FASD, and other Support Needs.
  • Candidates must possess a valid Driver's License and may be required to provide a sound personal vehicle for business use

Nice To Haves

  • MSW or a master’s degree in a relevant discipline (MA in Counselling, MA Psychology etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • BSW or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (CYC, Applied Behavioural Analysis, BA in Psychology, etc.) will be considered with extensive (minimum 3- years) of experience directly related to the position.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, control, and direct the provision of services for the FCC Behaviour Services Team and services.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to program staff to address the complex needs of the individuals and / or families served.
  • Provide supervision and support to program staff in relation to developing and maintaining client records and effective case management practices.
  • Plan, develop and coordinate services in compliance with relevant accreditation standards, and implement agency quality assurance procedures.
  • Provide annual employee performance appraisals and cooperate with staff to develop performance objectives and professional development plans.
  • Provide staff consultation, including after-hours support when required.
  • Coordinate referral, screening, and intake procedures for assigned programs.
  • Liaise and collaborate with contractors and collateral service providers to assist with service coordination, enhance program services and ensure best practices.
  • Collaborate as a member of the Management Team to develop strategic plans; and assess and resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Complete administrative duties, including the range of required incident, quality assurance and program reports.
