About The Position

Bruyère Health is seeking a Practice Facilitator for their Family Medicine department. This role is responsible for quality assurance, clinic operations, staff supervision, training, and ensuring environmental safety and supply management. The position requires adherence to Bruyère Health policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, health care, or another relevant field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive management experience, preferably within a health care setting.
  • Experience with scheduling, finance, deliverables, or client relations.
  • Working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
  • Able to lead and manage staff in a unionized environment
  • Proficient in quality management.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Able to problem-solve.
  • Capable of multi-tasking effectively
  • Familiar with the functioning of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology
  • Advanced computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary education in clinical, health science, information technology, or health informatics.
  • Registered member of a regulated health professional college with health informatics experience.
  • Fluent in French and English

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the measurement and reporting of quality assurance indicators as identified by the Director of Family Health Services and the Family Medicine CQI committee, along with any other internal or third-party reporting.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Primrose Clinic, including scheduling and supervision of staff.
  • Organize training sessions and team meetings.
  • Ensure environmental safety within the clinic.
  • Manage the supplies of the center.
  • Maintain adherence to Bruyère Health policies and procedures.
