The primary responsibility of the Practice Director is to maintain a consistent above average performance metrics, provide business generation leadership, motivation and direction to direct reports, participate in the recruitment of new hires, and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. This role involves driving revenue-generating activities, executing operational focus areas, meeting productivity standards, managing time effectively, and making quality decisions. The Practice Director is also responsible for attracting, sourcing, training, developing, and retaining staff, achieving pricing goals, and possessing expert knowledge of the practice group. They must quickly recognize and act upon business trends, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, motivate and lead by example, manage change, facilitate resolutions, and conduct effective meetings. Additionally, the role includes leading customer retention and expansion strategies, building customer loyalty through superior service, and leading with character, trust, respect, and credibility. The Practice Director promotes an inclusive work environment, accepts responsibility for their actions, creates a positive team culture, strives to understand and support others, follows through on commitments, and treats others fairly and consistently. Business generation, revenue, and pricing goals are key, with a total headcount of up to 4 including the practice director.
