The primary responsibility of the Practice Director is to maintain a consistent above average performance metrics, provide business generation leadership, motivation and direction to direct reports, participate in the recruitment of new hires, and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. The Practice Director is responsible for driving revenue generating activities/practice group performance, executing operational focus areas, meeting productivity standards, effectively managing time, planning and multi-tasking, and making quality decisions. They are also responsible for achieving pricing goals, possessing expert knowledge of the practice group, and quickly recognizing and acting upon business trends. The role involves effective communication, promoting a culture of collaboration, motivating and leading by example, providing recognition, managing change efforts, and facilitating resolution with internal staff, clients, and candidates. Additionally, the Practice Director leads customer retention and expansion strategy, builds customer loyalty by providing superior service, and leads with character, building trust, respect, and credibility through actions and behaviors. They promote and support an inclusive work environment, accept responsibility for their own actions and behaviors, create a positive, collaborative team culture, strive to understand and support others, follow through on commitments, and treat others fairly and consistently.
