The primary responsibility of the Practice Director is to maintain a consistent above average performance metrics, provide business generation leadership, motivation and direction to direct reports, participate in the recruitment of new hires, and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. This role involves driving revenue generating activities, executing operational focus areas, meeting productivity standards, and effectively managing time, planning, and multitasking. The Practice Director will also be responsible for attracting, sourcing, training, developing, and retaining staff, achieving pricing goals, possessing expert knowledge of the practice group, and quickly recognizing and acting upon business trends. Key competencies include effective communication, promoting collaboration, motivating and leading by example, providing recognition, managing change, facilitating resolutions, and conducting effective meetings. The role also emphasizes customer focus by leading customer retention and expansion strategies and building customer loyalty through superior service.
