The primary responsibility of the Practice Director is to maintain a consistent above average performance metrics, provide business generation leadership, motivation and direction to direct reports, participate in the recruitment of new hires, and effectively communicate with all levels within the organization. This role involves driving revenue generating activities, executing operational focus areas, meeting productivity standards, managing time effectively, and making quality decisions. The Practice Director is also responsible for reaching target performance metrics, attracting and sourcing talent, and training, developing, and retaining staff. They must achieve pricing goals, possess expert knowledge of their practice group, and quickly recognize and act upon business trends. Effective communication, fostering a collaborative culture, motivating and leading by example, providing recognition, managing change, and facilitating resolutions are key. The role also includes leading customer retention and expansion strategies, building customer loyalty through superior service, and leading with character, building trust, respect, and credibility.
