This role will be in-office at least three days a week, and role reports to the Senior Practice Development Manager. Position Summary The Practice Development Coordinator will work directly with the global litigation practice marketing team and certain litigation practice areas and industry group teams, contributing to a broad range of business development and marketing activities, while working as an integral part of the global marketing and business development team.

  • Two to four years of relevant experience in marketing or business development.
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Tech-Savvy problem solver who will have the ability to learn new programs or systems with ease
  • Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use in a professional environment.
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, firm-approved AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar platforms) to support daily workflow and/or improve work quality.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the day-to-day operations of the global litigation practice and related practice areas and industry groups.
  • Works with regional and practice group managers and the business development team to support practice-related proposal requests and RFPs
  • Drafts proposals, utilizing practice descriptions, experience databases, and client lists
  • Creates and maintains records of the firm’s specific practice experience, utilizing the firm’s experience database
  • Gathers and organizes information needed for legal directories and ranking submissions (Chambers USA, Legal 500, Benchmark Litigation, etc.)
  • Organizes practice group conference calls, as well as initiates follow-up on specific action items arising from those discussions
  • Ensures the flow of information from attorneys to marketing team, including as it relates to attorney biographies, practice area description updates, experience tracking news and activities data, press releases, etc.
  • Assists in the deployment of programs and events hosted/sponsored by the firm, such as teleconferences, webinars, seminars and other events, including the development and production of marketing materials and on-site logistics
  • Enters and maintains accurate information in relevant marketing databases, ensuring data integrity and proper storage
  • Submits and tracks requests to the marketing intelligence team for research, proposals, and other strategic projects
  • Collaborates with marketing and other business professionals throughout the firm across functions and teams
