The Practice Coordinator Orthopedics works closely with the Practice Manager to direct, coordinate, and administer policies, procedures, and programs for the practice setting. This role is responsible for delivering cost-effective health care services by supporting the practice manager in managing day-to-day operations and procedures. The coordinator establishes work schedules, assigns tasks, and allocates manpower, space, and equipment to ensure efficient patient care and adherence to service commitments. They also assist in resolving patient complaints, coordinate human resources functions, provide input for performance appraisals, and manage budgetary activities in cooperation with the practice manager. Additionally, this role participates in marketing and business development, ensures adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and serves as a liaison with various stakeholders. The Practice Coordinator also handles building maintenance issues and ensures compliance with corporate values and policies. They participate in team meetings and continuous quality improvement activities.
