About The Position

The Power Platform & Copilot Studio Practice Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for designing and delivering low-code AI agent solutions, shaping practice methodology, and engaging directly with large enterprise customers. This role owns the technical depth of the Agent Governance Accelerator offering, plays an active role in the Microsoft COE and ATC, and partners with the security team to ensure governed, secure agent adoption at scale.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Copilot Studio, with a track record of enterprise delivery.
  • Strong developer foundation: proven ability to build custom connectors, work with REST/OData APIs, implement pro-code extensions (PCF components, plug-ins, Azure Functions), and integrate third-party systems.
  • Demonstrated experience building low-code AI agents and automated workflows in Copilot Studio and Power Automate, including multi-turn conversation design and enterprise data connectors.
  • Proven experience architecting and delivering complex Microsoft solutions for large enterprise customers. This is a required background, not preferred.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in a technical field with a strong Microsoft technology foundation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and how foundation models integrate into low-code agent experiences.
  • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform (PL-200, PL-400, PL-600) and/or AI (AI-102, AI-900).
  • Experience with Dataverse architecture, solution lifecycle management (ALM), and Power Platform pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the practice SME in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, Power Pages) and Copilot Studio, including low-code AI agent design and deployment.
  • Design and build custom connectors and API integrations that extend Power Platform and Copilot Studio to enterprise systems and data sources, applying low-code/pro-code hybrid patterns where appropriate.
  • Maintain familiarity with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, including how Foundry-based models can be surfaced through low-code agent experiences (hands-on experience ideal but not required).
  • Stay current on emerging Microsoft innovations including Copilot Cowork and Microsoft Scout, and position the practice to adopt and evangelize new capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Security and apply Microsoft Zero Trust for AI principles (Verify Explicitly, Apply Least Privilege, Assume Breach) to agent design, and collaborate with the internal security team to ensure agents are built with governance controls from day one.
  • Configure agent governance using Agent 365, Entra Agent ID, and DLP policies scoped to agent interactions across Copilot Studio, third-party, and external agents.
  • Develop and maintain an agent governance framework covering agent identity, ownership, lifecycle management, and audit accountability, aligned to the Agent Governance Accelerator offering.
  • Establish standards for agent registry management, agent-level DLP, and how the Power Platform COE Starter Kit layers alongside Agent 365 controls. Partner with the security team on Zero Trust for AI alignment and agent identity reviews before production deployment.
  • Build, maintain, and refresh a library of enterprise-grade demos for the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) and customer-facing engagements, ensuring alignment with current offerings and Microsoft partner priorities.
  • Contribute to COE governance frameworks covering Power Platform environment strategy, DLP policies, licensing models, agent registry standards, and low-code development standards.
  • Develop reusable accelerators, templates, and reference architectures that increase delivery velocity, and contribute readiness scorecards and gap analysis frameworks for agent governance assessments.
  • Engage enterprise customers as a trusted technical advisor, leading solution workshops, architecture reviews, and technical deep-dives. Design end-to-end agentic solutions that integrate with enterprise systems via connectors and APIs.
  • Provide presales support, solution architecture guidance, and technical depth for strategic opportunities, including scoping and pricing AI agent and automation engagements alongside the Director.
  • Act as Customer Zero for new Power Platform and Copilot Studio capabilities, piloting and refining offerings before broad rollout, and developing go-to-market assets including working demos and competitive positioning materials.
  • Partner with Microsoft and strategic partners to co-create solutions, and represent Softchoice/WWT at industry events and Microsoft partner programs.
  • Serve as a technical bridge between GTM/product management and delivery, ensuring solutions are both sellable and deliverable.
  • Contribute to the practice's external presence through blogs, conference sessions, webinars, and Microsoft community engagement.
