About The Position
This position involves providing individual tuition in concert percussion for university students. MU390A-496 includes individual tuition and a weekly studio class. MUPS141/241D requires 600 minutes of individual and group instruction per semester on a major instrument over two semesters.
Requirements
- Masters in Music or equivalent professional experience or post-secondary credential.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional performing experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.

- Evidence of being a sought-after instructor, such as festival/competition clinician/adjudicator; guest masterclasses/workshops.
- Evidence of student success (acceptance to university music programs, awards at competitions/festivals).
- National/International performance profile as a soloist and/or collaborative and innovative interdisciplinary artist or composer-performer.
