About The Position

The primary purposes of this role are to instruct classes and labs, and supervise students in the clinical setting. Responsibilities include student job placement, preparing task analyses, advising students, grading reports and tests, and advising the supervisor on textbooks, special equipment, supplies, or other needs. The instructor will also attend appropriate meetings and participate in the overall quality of the program and school. This position requires discretion, ingenuity, and independent judgment due to the complexity of the job.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (BSN) required
Must be willing to pursue a Master's degree after one year of working
A valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma
Acceptable Oklahoma Driver's License and acceptable driving record
A minimum of three (3) years full-time equivalent practice as a registered nurse in a clinical setting, within the last five (5) years preceding the first date of first employment as a teacher
