About The Position

This position is an opportunity to join the Montreal warehouse team! Permanent full-time position of Warehouse Attendant. You will be called upon to join the team on a schedule of 25 hours or more. You are available on the evening shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM). As an employee, you have priority over external candidates for ALL OUR JOB OPENINGS (fixed schedules /37.5 hrs). Starting salary: $26.15/h plus evening ($1.25/h) and night ($1.75/h) premiums applicable. Annual increase based on performance and progression twice a year until the target rate of $26.90 is reached.

Requirements

• Physically able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements
• Able to work in a temperate and/or refrigerated environment
• Able to speak, understand, read, and write French
• Learn quickly and be responsible
• Work in a team and communicate with colleagues easily
• Be in a good mood and enjoy working

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse is a plus, but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Manipulate, manually lift, stack, load and unload various products (up to approximately 50 lb)
• Operate rolling equipment (electric pallet jack)
• Prepare orders for shipment using a voice-command system
• Clean and keep your work area clean at all times
• Participate in inventory control
• Perform all other related tasks
