About The Position

As a Guest Services Representative at JLL, you will be the face of our shopping centre, creating memorable experiences for every visitor. This role is central to delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the centre's operations, retail partners, and promotional activities. You'll combine your passion for helping people with strong sales and communication skills to enhance the overall shopping experience and contribute to JLL's commitment to excellence in property management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) system experience
  • Previous customer service experience in a retail or hospitality environment
  • Strong bilingual communication skills (French/English), both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and maintaining professionalism
  • Conflict resolution and management skills with a solution-focused approach
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and must be available during all mall opening hours

Nice To Haves

  • Multilingual skills beyond French and English
  • Experience with promotional event coordination or execution
  • Proficiency with computer applications (Excel, Chrome, and other relevant software)
  • Experience empowering and motivating teams to deliver excellent customer experiences
  • Demonstrated track record of continuously improving customer service processes and implementing new service ideas
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable, and proactive demeanor
  • Oral and/or written interactions with tenants or external partners based outside Quebec (for example, service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, non-French-speaking clients, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the shopping centre's services, amenities, facilities, stores, locations, promotional activities, and guest comfort tools
  • Proactively engage with shoppers to create memorable interactions, provide directions, answer questions, and deliver exceptional service
  • Sell shopping centre gift cards, process transactions accurately, and maintain sales reconciliation
  • Assist with promotional events including ballot distribution/collection/sorting, gift-with-purchase programs, and special event ticket sales
  • Communicate effectively with shoppers, retailers, centre management, service providers, and all shopping centre personnel in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Stay current on store merchandise, pricing, sales, and special events to offer personalized gift suggestions and direct shoppers to appropriate retailers
  • Support the implementation of the centre's Crisis Management Manual and understand Guest Services' role and responsibilities within the emergency plan
