About The Position

This role is responsible for enhancing the company’s brand presence through marketing initiatives, public relations efforts, customer engagement, and community involvement. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys event planning, content creation, and building meaningful connections both internally and externally. This position works closely with company leadership, sales, and HR to support business growth, strengthen company culture, and promote community engagement.

Requirements

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience managing social media platforms and website content
  • Strong event planning and project management abilities
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across departments
  • Willingness to travel occasionally throughout North Texas and Oklahoma
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for events

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, PR, social media management, event planning, or community outreach preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing/design platforms such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence through content creation, scheduling, posting, and audience engagement
  • Maintain and update the company website to ensure accurate, current, and brand-consistent content
  • Design and develop marketing materials including graphics, announcements, promotional campaigns, presentations, and internal communications
  • Ensure consistent branding across digital platforms, print materials, events, and promotional items
  • Assist in developing campaigns that support customer engagement and company visibility
  • Plan and coordinate company events
  • Additional company and community events as needed
  • Partner with the sales team to coordinate customer entertainment and relationship-building activities
  • Manage event logistics including invitations, vendor coordination, branded materials, scheduling, and follow-up communication
  • Support customer engagement initiatives that strengthen partnerships and support business development efforts
  • Assist HR with employee-focused initiatives and culture-building programs
  • Support internal communication efforts that promote employee engagement and company culture
  • Help coordinate employee recognition and community involvement activities
  • Identify and manage nonprofit sponsorships, partnerships, and community outreach opportunities
  • Represent P&K Stone at community, trade, and industry events
  • Support public relations initiatives that enhance the company’s reputation and regional presence
  • Build relationships with local organizations, schools, chambers, and industry groups
  • Coordinate company branding initiatives and promotional campaigns
  • Source and manage branded merchandise and apparel for employees, customers, and events
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and distribution of promotional items
