Powersports Parts Counterperson - Part-Time
About The Position
Jones Powersports is looking for a Part-Time Powersports Parts Consultant to join their growing team. This isn’t just a parts counter role—it’s an opportunity to work alongside fellow enthusiasts and help riders get exactly what they need to ride safely, confidently, and often. The Jones Family of Dealerships has deep roots in Lancaster, PA, and a longstanding reputation for quality, honesty, and customer care. Their Lancaster Honda & Jones Powersports location is home to a knowledgeable, passionate team, and they are excited to welcome another enthusiast to the crew.
Requirements
- Previous parts experience preferred (powersports dealership experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of motorcycles, off-road vehicles, or similar equipment
- Friendly, professional, and confident communication skills
- Comfortable using parts lookup systems and basic computer software
- Ability to lift and carry parts and equipment up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Availability on Saturdays required
Nice To Haves
- Ride, race, or wrench on bikes yourself
- Are familiar with brands like Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, or Polaris
- Thrive in a fastpaced environment and keep the good vibes going
Responsibilities
- Deliver topnotch customer service in person, over the phone, and online
- Help customers identify the correct parts and accessories for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and more
- Accurately pull, pack, and ship parts orders
- Work closely with the service department to keep repairs moving efficiently
- Stay up to date on new products, launches, and parts trends in the powersports industry
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well stocked parts department
