About The Position

This is a twelve (12) month full-time position, primarily Monday - Friday, which may involve day and some evening and weekend work providing classroom and field instruction for various subjects in the power delivery industry, including how to install and repair electrical power systems. In conjunction with the direct supervisor, the instructor will evaluate and improve program quality, stay abreast of applicable regulations applying to electrical line work, such as OSHA and NESC, advise students, and complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of a Journeyman Level Powerline Technician program
• Three (3) years of field experience
• Must have a current Class A CDL, or the ability to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher degree
• Experience teaching
• Substation and/or transmission experience
