About The Position

Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places. Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment. Ensures proper warehouse keeping, order pulling, shipping and receiving.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.
• Operate variety of equipment including forklift, pallet jack and hand truck.
• Attention to detail.
• Working in a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Strong multi-tasking abilities.
• Plan work activities, use time wisely and develop realistic action plans.
• May be required to use RF scanner gun.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily preventative maintenance check on all powered Industrial trucks.
• Safely navigate tight areas and deposit loads on racks 25 feet or higher.
• Operate Powered Industrial trucks from 5,000 lbs. capability to 50,000 lbs.
• Prepare loads for transport, meeting all ISO 9001 standards through D.O.T. Requirements.
• Be familiar with all DOT placarding for outbound shipments.
• Read and understand picking orders and prepare them for shipment to the requesting departments.
• Operate computers and relevant warehouse/inventory computer management program.
• Work as part of a team.
• Conduct, record and report inventory cycle counts.
• Stand or walk for extended periods of time, bend and lift heavy materials.
• Maintain consistent attendance.
• Maintain a clean & safe environment.
• Comply with all OSHA requirements.
• Follow rules and regulations.
• Comply with all GLOCK, Inc. EHS policies and procedures.
• Attention to accident prevention regulations.
