About The Position

Mi-Tech Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Power Utility Distribution Designer with an advanced understanding of power distribution and associated scopes of work. The successful candidate will field and design work for the customer. The role is approximately 50% fieldwork and 50% office-based work. Field assignments are generally within the employee’s local geographic territory, with minimal overnight travel, although occasional overnight stays may be required. On non-field days, the work location—company office or home office—depends on the employee’s geographic location.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on electric utility distribution experience involving overhead and/or underground distribution systems.
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with both overhead and underground distribution systems.
• Experience with GE Smallworld, SAP, or similar utility design and work management systems.
