About The Position

Ramboll is hiring a Power Systems Project Manager focused on data centers to own planning, execution, and delivery across a growing portfolio of data center, mission-critical, and pre-investment infrastructure projects. The role manages scope, schedule, and budget for multidisciplinary engagements involving substation design, generation and load interconnection, and early-stage site feasibility. It serves as the primary client contact, guiding clients with limited in-house energy-infrastructure experience and representing Ramboll to investors, developers, and economic development agencies. The Project Manager coordinates technical leads and disciplines to deliver integrated, constructible work; supports feasibility studies, power availability assessments, and preliminary master planning; and contributes to proposals and business development. The role also manages project risks, subconsultants, vendors, contract administration, quality procedures, and applicable industry standards, and mentors Assistant Project Managers and early-career staff. The position is in Ramboll’s Power Systems Department, with a hybrid work arrangement and listed office locations in Boston, Syracuse, Arlington, Chicago, and Houston. Ramboll describes itself as a foundation-owned global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company with more than 18,000 experts in 35 countries. The anticipated base salary is $120,000–$145,000 per year, varying by location and candidate qualifications. The position may also be eligible for bonus, overtime, or other compensation. Ramboll offers a flexible work environment, development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.
