Requirements
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, a PhD degree program with a major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
Nice To Haves
- Completion of, or current enrollment in, power systems fundamentals class(es) (strongly preferred)
Responsibilities
- Developing and conducting computer modeling and analysis for transmission & distribution planning studies.
- Performing projects/tasks such as network-wide steady-state and short-circuit studies.
- Contributing to process improvement efforts, including development of Python scripts.
- Gaining experience with the Texas and Eastern Interconnection power systems.
