Our team works on advanced engineering projects such as commercial and industrial facilities, renewable energy sites, microgrid systems, distribution automation systems, and standalone islanded systems. Work within the team includes developing drawings, preparing specifications, electrical system design, power system controls design and programming, factory acceptance testing, and on-site system commissioning. The intern will be responsible for contributing to project engineering efforts and working closely with multiple team members to directly support project work. All delivered work will be supervised, but the position requires someone with a self-motivated work ethic and dedication to tackle complex problems. The intern will report to the Manager of Power Systems Control in the Engineering Solutions department and will be based in S&C’s Chicago, IL headquarters.
