Arista Networks is seeking a Power Supply Development Engineer to join their new R&D Lab in Roseville. This role involves designing and implementing multi-kW AC/DC and DC/DC chassis power systems. The engineer will work with a project team to define, develop, source, and qualify OEM power supplies, characterize new power supplies in the lab, and design/support dual grid and redundant AC or DC power systems. The position requires applying analog and power circuit design knowledge, writing technical reports, communicating technical issues to diverse audiences, monitoring OEM vendor performance, and collaborating with international vendor engineering teams. The role also involves participating in defining next-generation systems, innovating, proposing improvements, and working closely with mechanical and compliance teams to ensure power distribution systems meet regulatory standards. Consultation with system and diagnostic engineers on testing practices is also part of the responsibilities. International travel may be required.
