Now looking to build our Power Scholars team for the Summer of 2026! Looking for a motivated director candidate looking to make an impact this summer! Under the supervision of the Power Scholars Program Director, the Assistant Director is responsible to support the administration and overall daily operation of all Enrichment and Academic Achievement Gap summer programming, and will work as part of a staff team to encourage SEL enrichment and plan and execute family events. The Assistant Director will represent the Old Colony Y in a positive, professional manner, resulting in friendly, convenient, and courteous service. The Assistant Director will uphold the employee code of conduct and will ensure that all areas of the job responsibilities reflect the mission of the Old Colony Y, and the regulating agency. The Assistant Director will be responsible for the creation and instruction of high quality summer programming for children, and will ensure a safe, healthy and constructive environment for all participants. The Assistant Director will display and encourage the character traits of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, as well as the values of the Developmental Assets consistent with the Old Colony Y.
