About The Position

As a Yancey Power Systems Sales Rep for Rental, the selected individual will be charged with securing and developing lasting and loyal relationships with customers. Short-term, seasonal, and nontraditional opportunities should also be assessed and pursued when profitable. With a primary focus on the rental market sector, the YPS Territory Sales Rep promotes all products and services of Yancey Power Systems within an assigned geographic territory. Responsibilities include both rentals and used equipment sales. The person in this position must work closely with the Rental Coordinators and personnel of other divisions to ensure that solid relationships are maintained by the Yancey sales force and our customers.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills, a competitive nature and initiative.
  • Enjoys talking to people, developing relationships with customers and working in a team environment.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Must have 3 – 5 years industry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for helping develop and execute Yancey Power Systems rental sales growth targets and orders operating plan, via penetration of existing key accounts and new project key opportunities.
  • Development of growth strategies, including sales initiatives, and customer mapping/penetration
  • Drive aggressive growth targets: volume, mix, penetration, and timing
  • Participate in cross-functional business activities
  • Call on consultant engineer community to drive job specifications towards the Cat Electric Power product offerings.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Yancey Required Safety Training and Annual recertifications
  • Must have a valid class C Georgia driver’s license.
  • Must have a qualified driving record and physical.
  • Must follow the Yancey Safe Driving Program
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
