About The Position

Peraton is seeking to hire an experienced Power Platforms Developer / Architect (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). This role is remote with access to Quantico VA, Kansas City MO or Camp Lejeune NC. The successful candidate will serve as the SME Architect and Engineer for the USMC Power Platforms environment. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining enterprise On-Premises Data Gateways (ODG) for secure data integration between legacy on-premises USMC networks and cloud environments. The role also involves designing, developing, deploying, operating, configuring, and administering the Power Platforms environment and Applications with OEM vendor, enabling and supporting Power Platforms integration with USMC network and application operations. Support for cybersecurity requirements, including obtaining approval to operate, and authorization to use Power Platforms development platforms and developed capabilities is crucial. The position is responsible for the development of Power Platform/SPO capabilities supporting the cybersecurity and operations of the SPO environment. The role will support USMC customers world-wide to enable warfighter operations via Power Platforms and SharePoint Online (SPO) capabilities, and will involve customer communication for development efforts, cooperative work with other developers on operation, security, and sustainability of the environment. Issue resolution, including investigation, diagnosis, workaround enactment, root cause analysis, and resolution for all incidents and problems, is also a key responsibility. Support for the USMC Enterprise App Store and App Catalog for SharePoint Framework Toolchain (SPFx) solutions, PnP Powershell, HTML, Visual Studio, and Java Script, both internal and external to the enterprise, is required. Occasional visits to USMC locations for network access may be necessary to support remote work arrangements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 16+ years with BS/BA degree; or a minimum of 14 years with MS/MA; or minimum of 10 years with Ph.D. An additional 4 years will be considered in lieu of the bachelors degree.
  • Ability to obtain IAT II Certification and Cyber Workforce Roles (8140) for the position.
  • Specific knowledge and recognized SME experience with PowerPlatforms/SPO Enterprise configuration, management and customer infrastructure integration.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to use design, deploy, operate Power Platform/M365/SPO capabilities focused on associated and supporting infrastructure including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI (to include associated Power Platform components such as DataVerse).
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to integrate Power Platforms/SPO capabilities using SharePoint Framework Toolchain (SPFx) solutions, PnP Powershell, HTML, Visual Studio, Java Script.
  • Experience gathering and managing customer requirements and using agile approach to planning development efforts.
  • Senior-level knowledge and experience developing capabilities for via Power Platforms and for SharePoint online environment.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer communication for development efforts and cooperative work with all other developers on operation, security and sustainability of the environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of secure development practices, and DOD STIG and application security practices and requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with code review and DOD security requirements and remediation practices.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Active/Current DoD Secret Security Clearance (Tier 3 BI).

Responsibilities
