About The Position

Greenberg Traurig is seeking a Power Platform Engineer to join its Technology Team. The role can be based in various offices on a hybrid basis and reports to the Director of Enterprise Content and Cloud Services. The Power Platform Engineer engineers, administers, and delivers secure, scalable solutions across the firm’s Microsoft Power Platform ecosystems. The position helps drive platform architecture, environment strategy, governance, security, application lifecycle management, and adoption of emerging capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI-powered agents. The engineer designs and develops enterprise solutions and works with Cloud Services, Application teams, Information Security, and other functional groups to integrate the Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure, and other enterprise platforms. The role also provides technical advice and guidance to business and technology teams, supports developers and makers, monitors platform health and adoption, and evaluates new Power Platform and Copilot Studio capabilities for potential firm adoption.

Requirements

Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform administration, governance, security, environments, DLP, Managed Environments, and lifecycle management.
Experience administering and governing Copilot Studio, including agent security, lifecycle management, and monitoring, and ability to develop and test agents or prototypes.
Hands-on experience administering and supporting Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and Copilot Studio.
Strong understanding of Dataverse architecture, security, and access controls.
Experience with Power Platform ALM, solutions, Pipelines, source control, and CI/CD practices.
Proficiency with REST APIs, custom connectors, Microsoft Graph, authentication patterns, and integrations with Azure services.
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, identity, RBAC, and secure application design.
Working knowledge of Power Platform licensing, capacity, premium capabilities, and Copilot consumption.
Experience with PowerShell, Power Platform CLI, scripting, APIs, and platform automation.
Experience monitoring platform health, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting production Power Platform environments.
Ability to lead technical discussions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in application development, platform engineering, or cloud solutions roles.
3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience in an enterprise environment, including administration, governance, and solution development.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Power Platform certifications; Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications are also a plus.
Experience supporting Power Platform in a large or regulated enterprise environment.
Professional services or law firm experience.

Responsibilities

Engineer, administer, and support Microsoft Power Platform environments, including configuration, security, capacity, governance, and lifecycle management.
Establish and maintain technical standards, environment strategy, data policies (DLP), Managed Environments, and governance controls.
Design and develop enterprise solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, and related Power Platform services.
Administer and govern Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI-enabled Power Platform capabilities, including security, agent lifecycle, publishing controls, monitoring, and consumption.
Develop agents and prototypes to validate capabilities, establish patterns, troubleshoot issues, and support development teams.
Implement and maintain application lifecycle management practices using solutions, Power Platform Pipelines, source control, and CI/CD.
Design and maintain Dataverse architecture, security, and access controls.
Integrate the Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure, enterprise applications, APIs, and approved third-party platforms using secure integration patterns.
Monitor platform health, usage, inventory, licensing, capacity, and adoption using Power Platform administration and monitoring capabilities.
Partner with Information Security and other technology teams to meet security, privacy, data governance, and compliance requirements.
Advise business and technology teams by evaluating use cases, defining technical approaches, and recommending solutions.
Lead troubleshooting, performance analysis, and technical reviews of existing solutions; recommend remediation or modernization as needed.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, makers, and citizen developers.
Evaluate new Power Platform and Copilot Studio capabilities and recommend them for firm adoption.
Author and maintain platform documentation, standards, runbooks, and architectural guidance.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
