About The Position

Our client is looking for a Power Platform/Workspace/Power BI EXPERT. This role involves evaluating alternative approaches and presenting recommendations to teams and unit leadership. The developer will regularly review applications and make modifications and/or updates to ensure currency and functionality. They will maintain and support multiple systems or complex software applications and their associated hardware at multiple client sites. Producing and maintaining documentation such as system requirements, designs, resource inventories, and plans is also a key responsibility. The role requires providing technical and project leadership to other staff members, demonstrating initiative, and working independently. Effective collaboration across departmental organizations to gain stakeholder consensus is essential. The developer may interface with vendor support service groups or other external support teams to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance and will act as a liaison to Mayo departments and vendors to adequately support the division’s computing systems. Routine interaction with colleagues located at any of the Mayo Group practices is expected, requiring virtual collaboration and partnership. The role may require 24/7 on-call support.

Requirements

  • Power Platform/Workspace/Power BI EXPERT (we need someone who is a Power expert)
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops.
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Experience with Crystal
  • SQL Server Reporting Service
  • Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years’ experience, including one (1) year demonstrated technical experience.
  • OR Associate’s degree and seven (7) years’ experience, including one (1) year demonstrated technical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Epic analytical tools (experience with Chronicles, Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, Cogito, and Slicer Dicer)
  • Big Query
  • Google Cloud
  • Python
  • Master’s degree in applicable field.
