ERG is seeking a Power BI Developer to support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of mission-critical systems in a federal environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Power BI, SharePoint, SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform and will be comfortable translating operational requirements into secure, scalable, and user-focused technical solutions. The position will initially be a hybrid role, with the potential to transition to a remote work arrangement following the initial assignment, based on business needs and project requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
1+ years of experience in software development, application development, database development, or a related field
Strong problem-solving skills and experience analyzing business processes and data to inform solution design
Experience with SQL, Power BI, and SharePoint
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and/or Power Apps
Experience with C#, JavaScript, or PowerShell
Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SQL Server, or Azure SQL
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, requirements analysis, and data governance
Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations

Responsibilities

Ensure solutions comply with applicable federal security, documentation, data governance, and operational requirements
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business processes, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reporting tools, compliance tracking systems, and metrics to support leadership visibility and audit readiness
Develop and configure applications, automated workflows, data structures, and integrations using Microsoft technologies
Design and manage SQL-based databases and data solutions, including data modeling, migration, cleanup, mapping, and validation
Configure and administer SharePoint Online and on-premises sites, lists, libraries, permissions, workflows, and document repositories
Test and deploy solutions, coordinate user acceptance testing, gather feedback, and implement enhancements
Create technical and user documentation and provide user support and training
Serve as a client liaison, communicating technical information and ensuring solutions align with operational and mission requirements
Provide project updates and communicate system status, enhancements, and recommendations to stakeholders
