The successful candidate will be responsible for: Rotating Shift work. 12 hour shifts, two weeks of days followed by two weeks of nights

Requirements

  • Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate
  • 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role: maintaining boilers, chillers, HVAC and PLC Systems

Nice To Haves

  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cGMP guidelines
  • Millwright, Electrical, Electro-mechanical or plumbing training
  • Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining various stationary equipment, including boilers, chillers, air compressors, and HVAC systems
  • Monitoring and controlling all systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations during the shift
  • Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance of systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions as necessary to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations
  • Maintaining accurate logs of all system operations, maintenance activities, and repairs
  • Performing appropriate water tests on water systems
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborating with other departments, including maintenance, production, and engineering, to support operational goals
  • Responding to emergency situations, alarms, and system failures and take appropriate action to resolve issues
  • Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications as needed
  • Ensuring the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols
