Requirements

3rd Class Power Engineer or 2nd Class Refrigeration Plant Operator licence
Strong mechanical or other relevant technical background
Sound troubleshooting skills in an industrial environment
Capable of working in a fast-paced team oriented processing and manufacturing environment working rotating shifts with occasional overtime, weekend work and on-call duties.

Nice To Haves

Ammonia background considered an asset
PLC programming experience an asset

Responsibilities

Operation/maintenance of Ammonia Refrigeration System, Boiler, Air Compressors, HVAC etc.
Completion of planned maintenance as well as corrective maintenance
Support Industrial Mechanics/Electricians with equipment breakdowns and maintenance of production equipment when required
Use of a CMMS for completing assigned as well as unplanned work
Strong commitment to occupational health and safety including LOTO, arc flash, working at heights, confined space etc.
