About The Position

HDR is hiring a Power Consultant to provide professional consultation regarding the technical feasibility of power plans for new mission-critical sites and assist with regulatory efforts for utilities. The role supports client satisfaction and project budget parameters, and includes other duties as needed. The consultant will contribute to HDR’s Power sector, which works on electricity generation, transmission, and delivery, including grid transformation and reliable, resilient, and sustainable power systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Efficient use of the internet and other electronic and hard-copy media for research.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Visio skills.
• Expert Microsoft Access and Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and present summary-level information.
• Ability to obtain, cleanse, merge, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong relationship, organizational, and follow-up skills.
• Self-starter with a proven track record of accomplishments.
• Commitment to being an active participant in HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree.

• Experience in an A/E/C industry.
