About The Position

Power BI Lead with expertise in Microsoft Fabric to drive modern data analytics and BI initiatives. This role will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable analytics solutions leveraging Fabric's unified data platform to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years in Data Analytics with strong experience in Power BI leadership roles.
  • Hands-on expertise in Power BI Data modeling, DAX, report design, performance tuning.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architecture patterns (medallion architecture, lakehouse, ETL/ELT).
  • Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, ADLS, etc.).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data transformation tools.
  • Experience implementing data governance, security, and row-level security (RLS) in Power BI Fabric.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in enterprise-scale Fabric implementations.
  • Knowledge of data engineering and data science workloads within Fabric.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL300, DP600, Fabric certifications).
  • Experience with Agile delivery models.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Power BI solutions including data ingestion, modeling, visualization, and governance.
  • Design and develop optimized Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards aligned with business requirements.
  • Establish best practices for data modeling, star schema, DAX optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Drive data governance, security, and compliance using Fabric and Power BI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
  • Ensure integration of Power BI with broader Microsoft ecosystem (Azure Synapse, Fabric pipelines, etc.).
  • Provide executive-level insights and storytelling through data visualization.
