About The Position

Summit Manufacturing Corp. is seeking qualified powder coaters to assist in our powder coating operation on day and night shift. Experience in powder coating or general labor in a manufacturing environment is preferred and will be compensated accordingly. Entry-level applicants will be considered and may be hired and offered on-the-job training if they have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and an ability and willingness to be taught. Team members at SMC are expected to produce and deliver high-quality products for use in the material handling industry.

Requirements

• Proficiency in powder coating techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with different types of powder coatings and their applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of powder coating technology, including various coating processes.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in a powder coating environment.
• Ability to perform powder coating tasks accurately and consistently.
• Capability to set up and maintain powder coating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and products for powder coating.
• Apply powder coating to various surfaces using electrostatic spray guns.
• Perform routine maintenance on powder coating equipment.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
