About The Position

This role involves preparing and hanging large steel production parts on a moving overhead conveyor, operating powder coating equipment and machinery, and stacking completed parts. The position also includes assisting in training new employees, adhering to an attendance policy, and performing other duties as required. Mandatory overtime may be necessary based on business conditions.

Requirements

• Familiar with hand tools and power tools
• Basic computer skills
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavy objects (75-100+ lbs.)
• Perform various physical tasks such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, twisting, and standing regularly
• Good dexterity to operate hand tools and paint sprayers
• Normal vision with or without corrective lenses
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to various conditions, including loud noise and hot temperatures
• Conduct yourself in a professional, safe, and businesslike manner while maintaining a positive, collaborative attitude
• Can make the daily commute to Chanhassen, MN and maintain good attendance
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, full panel drug screening, and pre-employment physical with work simulation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of necessary training requirements provided by SRC

Responsibilities

• Prep and hang large steel production parts on moving overhead conveyor
• Run powder coating equipment/machinery, including sprayer and booth
• Place or stack completed parts on pallets by hand or using overhead hoist
• Assist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge base
• Adherence to the attendance policy
• All other duties as required
