About The Position

We are seeking a reliable Powder Coating Painter to join a growing manufacturing team in Salt Lake City. This position is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal components to meet high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate has experience with powder coating processes, takes pride in producing a consistent, durable finish, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and powder coating processes.
• Ability to identify coating defects and make necessary adjustments for quality results.
• Experience operating powder coating spray equipment and curing ovens is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality finished products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, sanding, and inspecting surfaces.
• Apply powder coatings evenly and accurately using spray equipment and established procedures.
• Operate curing ovens and monitor temperatures and cure times to ensure proper finish quality.
• Inspect completed parts for coverage, color consistency, adhesion, and overall quality.
• Touch up or rework products as needed to meet production and quality standards.
• Maintain powder coating equipment and keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow work orders, production schedules, and quality specifications.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE while handling coatings and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with production team members to meet daily manufacturing goals.
