About The Position

Axiom Custom Products is a custom fabrication shop serving the creative, events, retail, and construction industries. We combine advanced digital manufacturing technologies with decades of fabrication expertise to deliver exceptional products that stand out for their quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. With extensive in-house capabilities, we partner with our clients at every stage of a project, from concept and prototyping through fabrication, finishing, and installation. Our reputation is built on integrity, dependability, and the talented people who make it all happen. We believe in doing great work, supporting one another, and creating an environment where skilled craftspeople can continue to learn and grow. We offer competitive wages, outstanding benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage with dependent options, 401(k) and Roth retirement plans, 6 paid holidays, and after your first year you'll accrue 20 days of PTO. If you're looking for a long-term career with a company that values quality and invests in its employees, we'd love to meet you. We're looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join one of our busiest and most important production departments. This is an opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing flawless finishes and understands that the final coating is what brings a project to life. From architectural components and custom retail displays to one-of-a-kind fabricated pieces, your work will be the final step that defines the quality our clients expect. The ideal candidate has significant powder coating experience and understands every stage of the finishing process, from meticulous surface preparation through final cure and inspection. You know how proper pretreatment, part handling, film build, grounding, gun settings, curing temperatures, and quality control all work together to produce durable, beautiful finishes. You have an eye for color, texture, gloss, and consistency, and you don't settle for "good enough." While powder coating will be your primary focus, experience with wet paint systems, color matching, primers, specialty coatings, and finishing a variety of substrates including steel, aluminum, wood, plastics, composites, and foam is a strong advantage. Success in this role requires someone who is dependable, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative production environment. You show up ready to work, communicate well with your teammates, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and are always willing to help where needed. We value cross-training and continuous improvement, so you'll have opportunities to expand your skills across multiple fabrication and finishing processes. If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in producing exceptional work, and want to build a career instead of simply filling a position, we'd like to hear from you.
